Rescheduling Games

Where our complexes have closed due to severe weather and/or field conditions, we will automatically reschedule 5U-8U games.  Generally, these games will be moved to following weekend on Sunday afternoon.  For those age groups, please wait for the schedule to be updated with the new date and time before requesting to reschedule.

Below are the steps for rescheduling games hosted at either the Johnston or Urbandale Soccer Complexes.

1. Discuss alternative dates and times with the coach of the opposing team.  It is recommended you identify more than one alternative.
   We prefer games be rescheduled for weekends - especially for 9U and up.   Weeknights, especially Tuesdays and Thursdays, can be challenging to find times that will work.  Please note, generally, games will start on the hour (e.g., 1:00 PM).

2. Complete the Game Reschedule Form.

3. You will receive a confirmation email when field availability has been confirmed containing new date, time and field.  Referee assignors are copied on the confirmation email, and will confirm/reassign referees for the new game date and time.

4. Coaches notify their families of the new date, time and field.

5. Coach or club will update team calendar.

Rescheduling games due to cancellations of games held at other locations will need to be handled by the coach of the team you were scheduled to play.  If you have not heard from the coach, reach out to him or her to discuss alternative dates and times.
