Refereeing
One coach from each team may be on the field to act as referee and use the games as teaching opportunities for players. Restart the game whichever way - keep the play, keep the fun going

Format
The game is 4v4 without goalkeepers using a size 3 ball.
7/8U Teams play four 8-minute quarters.
There are a two minute quarter break, and a five minute half-time between the second and third quarters.
At the end of half-time, teams change sides of the field.
Refereeing
For 7/8U games, referees are introduced. If there is not a referee present, one coach from each team may be on
the field to act as referee and use the games as teaching opportunities.
Out of Play: Restarts ⏐ NO throw-ins ⏐ Goal Kicks ⏐ Corners
New: No throw-ins: dribble or pass to restart the game
New: Goal kicks: dribble or pass, defending team retreats to half
New: Corners: dribble or pass

The Opposing team must be outside the center circle and on their own half of the field.
Foul: Anything that seems inappropriate, forearm or body pushing, kicking, pulling clothes, hand to the ball etc.
